Due to COVID19, we have changed how we service our customers using the dropsite. This includes some updating of technology as all transactions now are completed outside and are in compliance of social distancing standards.

Other updates include:

1) We will only accept credit card payment, nothing else
2) We will not unload a customer’s vehicle
3) Paper copy receipts may not be available

Thank you in advance for your understanding as we work through these difficult times

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we charge by the weight or by volume?

Volume or per item for bulk items / appliances, etc.

What do we do with our brush, yard waste?

Randy’s offers a curb-side collection of grass and leaves. Call our customer service department and schedule an on call pick up or set up the weekly service. Many cities have a compost site for their residents. Your needs for a large brush collection would have to be addressed with a tree service.

Where can we dispose of our paints, varnishes, chemicals?

Randy’s does not accept Household Hazardous waste (HHW) on route or at the drop sites.

See if your community or county has a facility that collects HHW year-round. Some of these facilities have exchange areas for unused or leftover paints, solvents, pesticides, cleaning and automotive products, and other materials. By taking advantage of these facilities, materials can be used by someone else, rather than being thrown away.

If your community doesn't have a year round collection system for HHW, see if there are any designated days in your area for collecting solid waste.

Can I put an old microwave in my trash or recycle cart?

A microwave is an appliance that needs to be processed for recycling. Appliances cannot go in the trash or recycle carts. Other such appliances include:
